SLT Consulting is a digital marketing agency that provides marketing solutions to fortune 50 companies and established players across the digital and traditional media scape. The following videos were created for Barkably, an app that lets pet owners find pet friendly homes. These specific ads were crafted to reach Gen Z and older Millennials on OTT, YouTube and broadcast television. 

Barkably - 'Woof' Over Your Head Commercial

Barkably was an app that helped dog owners find pet-friendly housing. Think Apartments.com but for pet people. I was tapped to create a series of commercials that would air on OTT and other digital service providers over the span of a couple weeks but I only had a little under 72 hours to get both cuts ready to premiere. 

I just moved to Los Angeles (literally, it was my second day off the plane) and had only a laptop, a rental car and tremendous skill to get the video done. And the video did get got! It was a collaborative effort in that the SLT Team provided me with context and an idea of who the video was targeting, liberal, college educated women but I put the team on my back though. Translation: I owned the lion share of creative for the video

 

The video was created with After Effects, and utilized stock footage.

Barkably - No Worries Commercial

One video turned into two videos and the second video needed a voice over per the clients request. Due to the tight deadline the SLT team did not have time to source voice over talent but as an executive problem solver I found a solution: the homies. 

My homie was recently married and allowed me the pleasure to use his home to record his wife's fantastically vanilla non-regional diction. After a quick trip to BestBuy for some recording equipment I folded the fabric of reality to arrive at my homie's home and coach his lovely wife through the script I put together.

The client ended up not using the voice over 😢. 

The video was created with After Effects, Adobe Audition and utilized stock footage.
